I downloaded the 2 iso images of Red hat 7.1. Could you please tell me how to burn them ? I have Easy Cd creator 5 and Nero Burning 5. My first attempt with Easy Cd creator failed. I burned the first image using the "Cd bootable" command but the iso file remained an iso file.( I used joliet- mode 1 options).

What sort of burning software do you have? The trick is to burn a cd from the iso, not burn the iso to a cd. Have a peek here and see if it helps. The settings included not multisession and finalize after burning. You are burning as ISO images, right? These are not data CDs. Look on the Nero menu for "Burn Image" click it, it will come up with a file open dialog, select the ISO image, it will come up with the write dialog, just select finalize,
