troubles copying/burning 10.3 ISO image
I got a question regarding the burning of the iso image files.......... i have downloaded a copy of the iso image and had burned a direct copy of it onto a cd.. however when i tried to install the cd....... no kernel was found....... i was wondering if i should actually uncompress the iso image or what.. thanks i

You may have burnt the /contents/ of an ISO image, but I have never been able to recreate working ISO images through Finder burning. Try downloading a Redhat 7.2 image for instance, and burn it with the finder. It should be bootable, but it aint - ergo, it's not burning the .iso file properly, whereas Toast does.
